Teradata is a fully scalable relational database management system produced by Teradata Corporation. It is designed to manage large data warehousing operations. The Teradata database system is based on symmetric multiprocessing technology combined with connecting symmetric, communication networking multiprocessing systems to form large parallel processing systems. The major features of Teradata are Parallelism along with load distribution shared among several users, complete scalability and execution of complex queries.
