Why We Use Tableau Aggregrate Function ?

I'm curious to know, why we use aggregate functions in Tableau? Can anybody?

Aggregation Function is used to gather and express data in a summary form. For eg; it can be used to information about particular rows and columns based on a specific condition such as age, profession, or income.
