There are four different steps to enable boot-start

  • In this first step, we have to log into the AIX machine.
  • Display the root user, if equipped. Or else, you requirement prepend sudo to the next command. If you do not hold sudo at your AIX example, you need to be download, install, and also configure it.
  •  In the third step, we have to change to the Splunk bin directory.
  • Finally, we have to enable the boot-start by using the following command
  • [sudo] ./splunk enable boot-start
