Substring Function In Informatica

Substring function is used to retrieve a specific piece of the string. Substring counts blank characters in the string.

Example:

Substring( Mindmajix, 3, 8)

“3” is the position of the starting character of the substring and 8 is the position of the ending character of the substring.
