What is SharePoint?

I have heard that Microsoft SharePoint is a Cloud Storage system. But there is some difference between AWS and SharePoint? I'm completely confused. Can anyone explain the major difference between these two?

SharePoint is a web-based collaborative tool developed by Microsoft. It was launched in 2001 and comprised of a set of technologies that assist in the workflow of organization and hence improves productivity.
