    Can a fresher or non-IT person learn Generative AI?

    Yes. You start with prompt engineering, foundation-model behaviour, and responsible-AI practice — none of which require code. Google Cloud's Generative AI Leader certification has no prerequisites and tests no coding, making it a realistic first credential. Python is introduced gradually as you move toward the GenAI developer track.

    Do I need Python before joining?

    Not on day one. The opening modules — GenAI fundamentals, prompt engineering, and ethics and limitations — are concept-driven. But Generative AI is a genuinely technical field: building RAG pipelines, calling model APIs, and fine-tuning all require Python, so plan to learn it during the course rather than skip it. It is taught from scratch.

    What is the minimum qualification to enrol?

    Any graduate from any discipline can enrol. There is no mandatory computer-science or data-science degree. What matters most is 1–2 hours of consistent daily practice and comfort reading English technical documentation.

    Which Generative AI certification should a fresher target first?

    The Google Cloud Generative AI Leader — US$99, 90 minutes, 50–60 multiple-choice questions, no prerequisites, no coding tested, valid for three years. Save the AWS Certified Generative AI Developer – Professional (AIP-C01) until you have hands-on building experience, as it is a professional-level exam.

    Is Generative AI worth learning for a working IT professional?

    Yes. The WEF Future of Jobs Report 2025 ranks AI and big data as the fastest-growing skills through 2030. In India, GenAI shows the widest talent gap of any AI skill — about 83% per Quess Corp (June 2026) — with AI openings projected to exceed 2.3 million by 2027 (Bain & Company).     I know Python and REST APIs — will my skills transfer to Generative AI?

    Directly. Foundation-model work is API-first: you call Amazon Bedrock, Vertex AI, or an OpenAI/Anthropic endpoint, handle JSON, and orchestrate retrieval. Your Python, API, and cloud experience is the single largest accelerator. The genuinely new material is embeddings, vector stores, RAG design, evaluation, and guardrails.

    Which Generative AI certification should a working professional target?

    The AWS Certified Generative AI Developer – Professional (AIP-C01) — US$300, 65 scored questions (75 total including unscored), a passing score of 750/1000, and valid for three years. It is professional-level: AWS recommends holding the Data Engineer and Machine Learning Engineer Associate certifications first, and expects you to design architectures and write code, not just describe concepts.

    How much Python do I actually need as a working professional?

    More than basic scripting. You should be comfortable with functions, packages, virtual environments, and reading library documentation, because every production task — RAG pipelines, fine-tuning, and evaluation harnesses — is written in Python. Deep-learning theory is taught in-course, but Python fluency is what separates learners who ship a working pipeline from those who only prompt.
